Life Drawing. This selection is not recent, but saying "past life drawings" makes it sound like I was sketching these people's past incarnations as the Queen of Sheba or King of France! "Life drawing" means practice sketchwork, made prior to portraiture, based on observation of a live model (rather than from a photograph).
