PORTRAITURE
the early years
I loved drawing from a very young age, and especially loved trying to capture the likeness of a person. Most of these drawings are from my teen years, but a couple are from as early as 12 years old.
One landscape is included, just for fun. I didn't develop my interest in this genre until much later, so my portfolio doesn't include enough "early landscapes" to devote a whole page to them.
These show a precocious focus on detailed drawing (see the black-and-white pencil/ charcoal sketches) and exploration of color (notice the limited or even binary color schemes).
